Terms & Conditions

1. General

These terms apply to all guitar lessons provided by Patrick Guitar in Brighton & Hove. By booking a lesson, you agree to the following terms.

2. Lesson Bookings

Lessons can be booked as single sessions or in blocks.
All lessons must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

3. Payment

  • Payment for single lessons is required in advance or on the day of the lesson.

  • Block bookings must be paid in full before the first lesson.

  • Payments are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

  • Missed lessons without notice are non-refundable.

  • We will always try to accommodate rescheduling where possible.

5. Lesson Location

Lessons take place either:

  • At the tutor’s location, or

  • At the student’s home (where agreed, additional travel fees may apply)

Students must ensure a suitable space is available for home lessons.

6. Block Bookings

  • Block lessons must be used within an agreed time period (e.g. 6–8 weeks).

  • Unused lessons after this period may be forfeited.

  • Block bookings are non-transferable.

7. Children’s Lessons

  • A parent or guardian must be present at the property during lessons for students under 18.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the child has a suitable instrument and practice environment.

8. Student Responsibilities

Students are expected to:

  • Arrive on time for lessons

  • Bring their guitar and any required materials

  • Engage with practice between lessons where possible

9. Tutor Cancellations

If the tutor needs to cancel a lesson:

  • As much notice as possible will be given

  • The lesson will be rescheduled or refunded

10. Liability

Lessons are undertaken at the student’s own risk.

  • Injury during lessons

  • Loss or damage to personal property

11. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. The latest version will always be available on the website.
